Mobile AWE

We are getting very close to finishing up our mobile version of AWE. For those that don’t know, this mobile version will let you administer dealer accounts in real-time. If you are a dealer or service provider that walks the lot manually adding vehicles to the inventory, whether through some clunky handheld device or just writing things down on paper, AWE Mobile will fix this. And you can forget about lugging around some out of date handheld that you have to enter in vehicle data, then download to the computer, then re-upload to the internet. Currently, this first generation AWE Mobile is being designed for use on the iPhone. Why you might ask? The iPhone is a handheld device that allows us to develop a web rich application that connect and interacts with the internet like a handheld should, and everything you do happens right then and there, again, in real-time. Plus, you get the added bonus of having your iTunes music around when you work! Personally I have been using an iPhone for about 5 months and am more thn please with its functionality and web capabilities - it isn’t just an entertainment device. We are proud to add this tool to our growing list of services.
As we get closer to launch, we will release more information.

Things are progressing along. We should be ready to release the first version sometime this summer. We’ve had some new developments with the release of the iPhone SDK earlier. As things get closer, more info will be posted.
