Monetize Your Dealer Clients’ Inventory & Help Them In The Process

Many companies using AWE and other systems for their dealer services make their money by designing the dealer sites, hosting the sites, and a few other ways. No one seems to have ever really looked at the large, possible cash cow sitting right in front of them - the inventory. If you service 10 dealers with an average of even just 100 cars each, you have 1000 vehicles that you know shoppers are looking for.
Dealers send their vehicles to Cars.com, Autotrader.com, etc, which they should, but on a local level, why not offer up another option for shoppers. Create a local search site. Throw your dealers’ inventory on for free (they’ll appreciate the extra exposure), optimize the pages for search engines, maybe do a little Google ads or something to get the traffic started, then sell ad space on the site to local businesses.
Having said that, it isn’t the easiest to create a classified site, I understand this. With AWE however, service providers are given a feed, and a script to grab this API feed, which will pull in all of your dealers’ inventory and contact info for searches and viewing by shoppers - and it is plug-and-play just like the individual dealer feed. You can literally pop in the script into your design and you are off and running.
